I took a programming class once. Visual basic I think was what it was called (thanks for reminding me, Wiseman! I couldn't remember the name of it...). We did simple stuff, like making your own calculators, and some other mini-programs. I hated that class. I liked it at first, it wasn't too hard, but then he'd assign us these programs. And half of the ones I made didn't work due to some barely noticeable mistake. So I'd sit there, frustrated and worried about deadlines, with the teacher's Abba CD playing every other day. That was horrific.

Through, the drawing programs were fun and easy ^_^ I loved making the stick figure doing jumping jacks.

I tried two of my own programs. One was a successful, simple little program that told you info on certain RE2 characters. Another one was a Resident Evil battle system. An enemy would randomly appear and you'd pick a weapon and fight. I never did complete it though, too many bugs. Stupid Tyrant was always invincible.

I'll have to look into those links though. It never hurts to learn more ^_~

Just don't forget to escape, and store a lot of ammo an' weapons. Oh, and you must be technically sufficient, if you wanna escape alive!! Just call me, if that happens, I'll help you get the hell out of there... ^_^

Will do! If my city ever was overrun by zombies, I think I'd be hitting the gun shop first...

IRT Sizer-chan: Syntax errors and bugs are common, don't worry; with practice, you'll find them very quickly and fix them. The way compilers report syntax errors is funny at first and may lead to confusion, but you'll get used to it with time. Writing programs on your own just for fun is the best you can do to learn.

Feel free to follow this tutorial!

IRT Dreamer: Please keep [!OT] threads on topic.
